Corona Extra launches a new Facebook Contest at European level
The Winner will be given the opportunity to make a dream come true. An “extraordinary experience” will become reality, and that experience will be recorded and broadcasted on MTV.
Corona continues exploiting his concept: “Experience the Extraordinary”. Last year a young British Dj, a Roman taxi driver and a Spanish amateur Rock Band knew the feeling of living an extraordinary experience. After the success achieved during last year, the Brand is transferring the same concept to the Social Media.
The countries involved in the contest are Germany, Ireland, Switzerland, Denmark and Austria. Citizens of these five nations can participate in the contest through an application integrated in Corona Facebook page, where online users can explain the “extraordinary experience” that they would like, using 100 characters.
From all the proposed experiences, 10 will go to the final, and one will be a winner. There are two ways to the final: being the most voted by the fans and being selected by the jury.
In order to persuade Facebook users, the participants should add to their experiences as much written and visual information as possible, to explain the reasons why they present their proposals. On the other hand, they should use all the tools available to promote and viralise their experience.
As shown on the promo, the best way to persuade the jury, is not presenting clichés. The jury will particularly value the reasons and originality of the proposals. That is why the jury will award the most creative experience every single week that the contest last.
The 10 finalist contestants will win a trip to Ibiza with accommodation included. The winner will have the opportunity to life a real extraordinary experience that will be filmed and broadcasted by MTV: If your dream is singing with your favorite singer and feeling the thrill of being on stage, or to parade on the catwalk with the best international designers, you could do it, thanks to Corona Extra and MTV!
